BEST Visual Artist 2014, Finalist

Each year Festival South opens online voting polls for nom

inations in a variety of categories including Shopping, Outdoor and Recreation, Services, Etc.

People from all over the Mississippi and greater pinebelt area cast their vots for who they consider are the Best of the Pinebelt. Out of tens of thousands of votes cast, only three finalists are selected to go onto the final voting round.

Amanda Sanford was a finalist amongst 3 other local artists for the best visual artist. Voting for the finalists ended on April 15. Winners were announced in the June edition of the Signature Magazine which will also hold as the program for Festival South.

Even though Amanda did not win the final voting round, officials declare it a close call. Being nominated is a huge honor and an achievment.
